I've been taking photography seriously for the past year, ever since I bought my first digital SLR camera, and have been taking pictures for family and friends as often as possible. I am hoping to really expand my photography this summer and learn as much as possible about the creative and business side of doing this professionally. I truly love capturing life's wonderful moments and giving people photo's that will be cherished forever.
But, enough typing for now... this is a photography blog after all and what would it be without some photos! These are of my really good friend's beautiful little girl I took in April. She is quite a serious little one but we manage to catch a couple smiles ;) Enjoy....
My personal favorite, she was hiding her necklace on us and asking 'necklace, where are you?'

Thanks Paige! A photo challenge is a great idea - I'll definitely keep it in mind. And I used the directions here to get big pictures -http://www.blueorchidblog.com/2007/10/how-to-have-large-photos-on-your-blog.html - I used photobucket and it was actually pretty easy :)
My favorite is the one with the teacup! She is a doll! Great job, Kari! Can't wait to see more of them.
