And now... part 2 of Evan & Gina's amazing wedding! Catch up on part 1 here.
We were able to take advantage of the gorgeous grounds at The Norland for portraits.
I will warn you now - this is a mega post. I just had too many favourites!!
The handsome groom...
And the beautiful bride...
Gina had a wonderful group of girls with her - they all made the day so much fun.
Evan had his brother stand up with him.
I love how this house makes you feel like you are somewhere other than Lethbridge! So Beautiful.
Ahhh... this light was AMAZING!
I love the timeless feel of these...
Gina made all of the bouquets and boutonnieres - they turned out beautifully!
Then it was off to the reception at the Coast Hotel...
Some of the details...
The rest of the night was filled with great food, laughter, and dancing!
Evan & Gina - thank you for allowing me to capture your day. All the best in this exciting new chapter of life!!

The Norland Estate Wedding: Evan & Gina Part 1
Their love is easy, uncomplicated, pure. It shows through small gestures, a special glance, a smile. Gina & Evan's love for each other is evident in all they say and do.
This September, Gina & Evan promised to love one another for a lifetime.
It was my incredible honour to capture their special day. Gina had put so much thought and attention into all of the details that the day went by smoothly - easy, uncomplicated, pure. The calm both Evan & Gina exuded all day was wonderful - I think they were both so happy this day had finally come.
Gina & Evan, thank you both so much for allowing me to be a part of your day.
The day started off at the amazing Norland Estate in Lethbridge.
Seriously, amazing details.
It was incredible how calm Gina was, I loved it.
Gina, you are stunning. Absolutely gorgeous.
Since Evan & Gina both got ready at The Norland, I was able to snap a few of Evan putting on his final touches.
A few months ago, Evan's grandfather passed. A while ago he gave Evan the cufflinks he wore on his own wedding day. The photo on the left is Evan showing his grandmother - there were tears all around.
Gina, through a window, right before walking down the aisle & the beautiful ceremony location.
Yay!! Married!!
These two are my favourite from the ceremony.
So much more to come from Evan & Gina's day!!

A New Look.
Ta da!! What do you think of the new look??
For a while I have been wanting to define my photography and develop a brand that represents me. My previous blog design/business card was a template I found online and thought was cute. But it didn't have a lot to say about me and who I am.
I wanted a logo that was fun, vibrant, modern. What I want my photo's to be.
Elephants are the one constant favourite in my life, ever since I was four, and the best representation of me. My whole inspiration came from a mosaic elephant I bought in Spain that sits on my computer desk that I look at every single day. Anyone who has known me for any length of time can definitely attest to this elephant obsession.
I also do not have a favourite colour and there was no way I would choose just one that I wanted to define my brand.
Now, a quick shout out to the lady who made my logo vision come to life - Cynthia Korman of Cynthia Korman Photography & Design. She was so wonderful to work with and was prompt with emailing me and keeping me up to date with the progress. No small little change was ever to much to ask. Cynthia, you are amazing!
No pictures on this post today, I don't want to take any focus away from the new blog!
Enjoy :)

Change.
I am going to be taking a small hiatus from blogging for about a week to work on some very exciting changes. In this case, change is very good and I am so excited about it.
I don't want to say more than that right now but get ready to be blow away.
Nothing like building the hype and then leaving you hanging ;)
And since fall itself is a season of change....

So True.
This is my all time favourite saying.
It can pull you through grief and sadness. It can remind you to cherish happiness and joy.
Four little words that are incredibly powerful.
I'm off to shoot a wonderful friend's wedding today - I hope to not only capture her day beautifully but to enjoy every fleeting moment.

Alphabet Photography.
I love being able to use my photography skills to give unique and thoughtful gifts. When Scott & I found out about alphabet photography we knew we had to try it.
We even had the best opportunity to give it a go - Troy & Alison's wedding.
All of these photo's were taken in about an hour one evening while walking around Carman. I am in love with how it turned out!!
Bonus that this will be my last name in a couple short months - so I can reuse all of these letters!!

In case you're wondering....
.... what I've been up to for - oh - about the last month, I thought I would give you a visual representation. Because really, words fail me.
That's right. Sixteen. Sixteen full cans of spray paint. And I have personally sprayed the last drop out of each can.
Let me say it again. I've gone through SIXTEEN cans of spray paint - including every single can of Design Master Navy Blue #738 in the entire city of Winnipeg.
I've endured pesky bugs, a numbed fingertip, a sprained thumb, scrubbing paint off my body, sore forearms - and who knows how many braincells I've killed by inhaling fumes.
What exactly have I been painting? Well, you will just have to wait until November 12, 2011 to find out ;) If you want me make me cry happy tears and give you a huge hug - just pick anything that looks remotely spray painted at the wedding and tell me it looks beautiful. Seriously, cue waterworks.
Ahhhh.... the crazy things people do for their wedding.
