One of the many things that I love about photography is the simple fact that a photo captures a single moment in time. No matter the past, or the future, a photo captures 'right now'. Whether it's a special moment - a wedding, birthday, graduation - or if it's a regular everyday moment, a photo grasps that moment to someday look back on.
In this season of my life, it seems that I am constantly thinking of the furture. Mainly the quickly approaching special day this November. It is so easy to get caught up in what we are going to do tomorrow, next week, next month instead of focusing on right now. And right now? Right now, is oh so good.

i'm the *worst* at "right now"... i find i wrap it all in nostalgia without even stopping to absorb it's goodness... It's something i'm working on - (with some success! :) i wanna be a 'right now' girl too...
