Manitou Beach

My family recently went on a family holiday to Manitou Beach, Saskatchewan. Why, you ask? It's right in the middle for all of us. And the lake is salt water, something different right?

This was the first trip with just the five of us in almost ten years, and I love that the timing coincided with my last summer as a 'Fredrick'. The reason it's been so long? Well, for the last 4 years my sister has somehow not been invited on our family holidays - it has become somewhat of a joke within the family but it was time to change that.

We had such a nice relaxing time - with no plans but to lay on the beach. There is just something about letting the sun dry the water off your body that bodes well with my soul. We couldn't have picked a better spot - it was the perfect blend of quaint little shops, vintage finds, ice cream, & dirt roads. Here are a couple photo's from the little tiny village of Manitou Beach.

I've heard of this lake before. Sadly when I lived in Saskatchewan I never got the chance to go there. You're pics make me want to go check it out for myself. Looks beautiful!
