For the two weeks leading up to the wedding the weather had nothing nice to give - days and days of rain and thunderstorms seemed unrelenting. Then, finally, the day before the wedding the clouds parted and the sun smiled down on us - giving Darren & Mallorey the perfect day. And it was a perfect day, in so many ways.
Their day was a relaxed laid back affair filled with smiles and laughter - a perfect reflection of their relationship. Darren & Mallorey both have such kind giving hearts and their wedding day was an outpouring of love all around. I feel so blessed to not only count this wonderful couple as friends but to be there to document their love - it was an honour.
The wedding ceremony took place outdoors in the Graysville School yard and both the girls & boys were able to get ready inside the old school.
Yes, Mallorey's incredibly beautiful bouquet is in a sink! Mallorey is nothing if not resourceful ;)
The boys, very fittingly, got ready in the games room.
The school was filled with wonderful antique's to take photo's of the details on - I was in heaven! Oh, and I was just a little tiny bit obsessed with Mallorey's bouquet - amazing job by Robyn Peckover!
Vera Wang makes every wedding day complete...
Umm...Mal? You're gorgeous.
The ceremony set up was perfect...
And complete with classic cars! Huge thanks to Amy Vanderveen for second shooting the ceremony with me!
